1/1/08 - WINNER!!! EROTIC SIGNATURE International art competition. My sculpture, The Impossibility of Passion, has been selected from the many entrants to be included in the who's who book of erotic art, The World's Greatest Erotic Art of Today Vol II. 31/12/07 - JAG artists support group art as healing show. Jamie McCartney and Julie-Anne Gilburt, along with celebrity actres Patsy Palmer are displaying their work with local amateur artists who have all used art as a way to overcome trauma in their lives. 9/11/07 - JAG studio gallery exhibition November 24-25th. Jamie McCartney and Julie-Anne Gilburt will be having a joint exhibition at the JAG to hail my new studio there and to showcase our new work. I will be exhibiting my body cast and other sculptures as well as my new Sexidermy pieces and my Objets d'Aft. Julie-Anne's new multi-layered works on acrylic sheet and her series of 'Lyric' paintings for EMI will be on show for the first time. 8/11/07 - JAG artists raise £6370 for Macmillan Cancer Support. My sculpture, Wake Up (and smell the coffee), made £3500 (£1000 more than the estimate). Julie-Anne Gilburt's painting, Storm in a Coffe Cup, made £1900 and her piece, Sorry Gordon, famous for being thrown in the sea by Gordon Ramsey, rasid £620. I was delighted to be the winner at £350 in the silent auction for a sculpture by Tatsuya Kimata. FOR PRESS RELEASE CLICK HERE

1/11/07 - Sculpture develops 'skin cancer'. Wake Up (and smell the coffee), on display in the window at Peter Jones and to be auctioned for Macmillam Cancer Support has developed 'skin cancer' from the action of the sunlight coming through the window on the surface of the sculpture. The reclining naked woman, cast in coffeee beans and resin is suffering sun damage in a poignant reminder of the effect sun can have on our skin. FOR PRESS RELEASE CLICK HERE

24/10/07 - My sculpture on show with DAMIEN HIRST skull. My piece, Wake Up (and smell the coffee) is currently on display in the window at Peter Jones alongside works by Damien Hirst, Nicola Hicks and other greats. They are to be auctioned on Nov 8th for Macmillam Cancer Support.

10/09/07 - I WON first prize in the UK's first Art Car Parade which took place in Manchester on September 8th. My entry Car-bon Miles was awarded the Kyoto Prize for the most environmentally friendly vehicle. See this BBC news story.

12/06/07 - I have moved to a new studio above the JAG gallery on Brighton seafront next to the pier. Great light, fantastic listed building, wonderful panoramic sea views from the terrace. Come and visit me in Brighton's hottest enclave of talented artists...
